Emotional Intelligence - Course Description

The ability to communicate, question, listen, motivate self and others are all “softer skills” that most managers and employees of today can relate to.

One other area that many people are also becoming more sensitive to and accept they need exposure to and show effectiveness in, is in the field of “Emotional Intelligence”

This Emotional Intelligence course therefore, considers what Emotional Intelligence actually is and identifies the practical benefits at work and in life in becoming “Emotionally Intelligent”

The programme is designed to allow participants to:

– Consider what Emotional Intelligence actually is
– Consider how to become more “Emotionally Intelligent”
– Recognise emotions in themselves and in others
– Consider practical workplace applications of understanding Emotional Intelligence
– Consider how to practically deal with a range of emotions in the workplace and in life
– Get the most out of any social or workplace relationships by using practical Emotional Intelligence skills and knowledge

Who Should Attend?

This Emotional Intelligence course is targeted primarily at managers and supervisors who want to build productive relationships in the workplace and in life, and complements many of the “harder” and “softer” skills that managers are traditionally trained & developed in.
