All of us are directly or indirectly involved in “Sales”. We may not have the word “sales” in our job title, but whether trying to influence a colleague, put forward a proposal to our manager, manage an interaction with a Client or genuinely commercially “sell” to another party, we all require to a greater or less degree the skills of “selling”.
This Essential Sales Skills course therefore, provides participants with the basics of “Sales” and “Selling” and is designed to improve your confidence and competence in this particular area, giving you the “toolkit of skills” and a range of strategies that are required to enable you to “close” more sales and “exceed your targets”.
The programme is designed to allow participants to understand the fundamentals of:
- Opening the Sale – what to do in those initial stages of a Sales situation
- Establishing Customer Needs – how to build rapport with your customer and understand their needs, by using recognised “questioning” and “listening” techniques
- Selling the Benefits of your Product/Service – learning about the best way to present the benefits of your product or service to a prospect in order to secure a sale
- Closing the Sale – How to handle objections effectively and learn some simple and effective ways to confidently “close” a sale
